Welwyn Grange welcomed members of the local community to its Open Day, helping to challenge common misconceptions about care homes by showcasing the welcoming, vibrant environment residents enjoy every day.
Visitors were invited to tour the home, learn about its dementia-friendly design and meet the team, while enjoying live entertainment from Ronan, a visit from the Mayor, refreshments and a fun World Cup-themed atmosphere.
The event received fantastic feedback, with visitors leaving with a better understanding of modern care home life and the strong sense of community at Welwyn Grange.
